I was invited to Luxembourg to work on 352’s slate of features after having worked for their co production in Paris on Le Jour Des Corneillies.
Tante hilda’s style required much subtle digital manipulation of scanned watercolor artwork.
We used many matte painting and digital manipulation techniques to push and round out the work while conserving the original texture.
We utilized thousands of watercolor dabs drips and spatters to plus the textural quality.
Luxembourg is an interesting Medieval city to visit with a size able ravine running through it. A great place to sketch and draw.
